Official Duck Race Rules
- A maximum of 30,000 ducks will be sold at $5.00 each. (Purchaser must be 18 years of age or older.)
- Ducks will be launched into the Deschutes River at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 11, 2011.
- Every duck sold will be automatically entered in the race. All ducks remain the property of the sponsoring clubs.
- To purchase a duck(s), all entrants must complete a registration form. See receipt for confirmation details.
- Once the ducks are launched, they are on their own. No attempt to free or interfere with any duck will be permitted.
- Winners need not be present to win. Winners will be notified by telephone, registered mail or in the media.
- All prizes will be awarded as stated.
- If any winner does not come forward to claim the prize won within 365 days of the race, that winner's prize is forfeited and the Judges will declare another winner for the prize so forfeited.
- The decision of the Judges will be final.
- All net proceeds will be given to charitable causes listed.
- In the event the race cannot take place, a lottery drawing will occur at the same time and location.
